Chinese state hackers access Treasury workstations via BeyondTrust key
The US Treasury told lawmakers that China state-sponsored hackers used a stolen BeyondTrust remote support key to access several employee workstations and unclassified documents, in what it called a major cybersecurity incident. BeyondTrust notified Treasury on December 8, 2024.
