The covered entity (CE), Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, reported that it experienced a cybersecurity incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 11,435 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, and clinical information. The CE notified HHS and affected individuals. In response to the breach, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards.
