The covered entity (CE), RGH Enterprises dba Edgepark Medical Supplies, reported that it experienced a cyberattack that affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 6,572 individuals. The ePHI involved included names, dates of birth, addresses, health insurance information, and purchasing data. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, the media, and posted substitute notice on its website. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional technical safeguards to better protect its ePHI.
