Resolute Health Hospital

Resolute Health Hospital, the covered entity (CE), reported that it experienced a ransomware attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 59,022 individuals. The PHI involved included names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, claims information, diagnoses/conditions, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards to better protect its sensitive data.
