Call center hack exposes 5.7 million Qantas customers' records
Qantas said a cybercriminal targeted a call center on June 30, 2025 and took data from a third-party customer servicing platform, including names, emails, phone numbers, birth dates and frequent flyer numbers; it later put the count at 5.7 million. The data was part of the Salesforce theft campaign and was leaked in October.
