Internal AI claims chatbot used by Optum staff was exposed to the internet
A researcher found Optum's internal SOP Chatbot, used by employees for questions on handling health insurance claims, reachable by anyone via its IP address. It did not appear to hold patient data, and Optum restricted access after being alerted.
