Ransomware attack on Omni Hotels exposes guest personal data
Omni Hotels shut down its systems on March 29, 2024 after detecting intruders, causing outages across properties. Omni later said customer names, email and postal addresses and loyalty program information were stolen; the Daixin gang claimed 3.5 million records, a figure not confirmed by Omni.
