Multi-agent AI framework cracked 85 Taiwan government accounts and took 2,564 records
Dream Research Labs documented a four-day operation in July 2026 in which attackers used a framework built on the Hermes and OpenClaw AI agents to password-spray government portals, cracking 85 employee accounts and extracting at least 2,564 personnel records plus SSO secrets and database credentials. Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs confirmed an AI-assisted attack on agencies.
