Fraser Child and Family Center

The covered entity (CE), Fraser Child and Family Center, reported that it sustained a ransomware attack that impacted the protected health information (PHI) of 64,131 individuals. The PHI taken in this attack included names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, diagnoses and conditions, medications, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, the affected individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect its PHI.
