Euphemia R. Brumskine, MD

The covered entity (CE), Euphemia Brumskine, MD, LLC, reported that it was the victim of a ransomware attack that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 2,800 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers, diagnoses, health insurance information, and clinical data. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards to better protect its PHI. The CE also retrained its staff.
