Experian unit's data resold to ID theft service run by Vietnamese fraudster
KrebsOnSecurity found that identity theft service Superget.info obtained much of its SSN, birth date and financial data through Experian's Court Ventures unit, via a data sharing deal with US Info Search. Experian said it stopped reselling the data after Secret Service notice and helped bring the alleged operator Hieu Minh Ngo to justice.
