Rhysida ransomware attack on Columbus, Ohio exposes 500,000 residents
The City of Columbus, Ohio suffered a ransomware attack on July 18, 2024 later claimed by Rhysida, which said it stole 6.5 TB of data. In a filing with Maine's attorney general the city said about 500,000 people had data including Social Security numbers and bank details stolen.
