Children's Home of Wyoming Conference

The Children’s Home of Wyoming Conference, (the CE), reported that it experienced a cyber-attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 1,111 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, addresses, social security numbers, medical record numbers, and treatment information. The CE notified HHS, the affected individuals, the media, and law enforcement officials. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional technical, administrative, and security safeguards. All staff were retrained.
