Configuration change exposed parts of some users' accounts and chats to others
Character.AI said a change made while refreshing featured characters briefly made parts of some users' account pages, which could include names, bios, personas, voices or chats, visible to other users for about ten minutes; fewer than 0.01% of users were affected.
