Contractor posts donor file of 550,000 blood donors on insecure website
A contractor that maintained the Red Cross Blood Service website placed a file of donor registration data, including names, addresses, birth dates and answers on at-risk sexual behaviour, in an insecure online environment. Security researcher Troy Hunt was sent the file and alerted AusCERT.
